hello!

my name is kerri peck and i am the owner and creator behind knots by kerri. i have a passion for and specialize in creating colorful small-scale macrame items. all of my products are created in my home, by hand with a great deal of care and intention. when I am not tying knots, i am busy raising three beautiful children, with my husband in the southern suburbs of the twin cities, minnesota.

my first encounter with macrame was during covid. i was working as a social worker and when we had to transition to working remotely, i had to bring all of my plants home, however, I didn’t have the space. my house was already full of plants. i love plants and it was kind of a problem.

i started making macrame plant hangers to utilize the vertical space in our home. that project turned into another project and the cycle began.

i hung up my social work hat in 2022 to focus on this more creative and artistic path. i love creating and working on my macrame projects. I equally love sharing my products and meeting customers at markets, art fairs, and retailers. i personally use all of my products and take a great deal of pride in my work.
